STALKER 2 Revealed, Coming in 2021

The bad news is that it's not going to happen anytime soon: The Stalker 2 site now indicates that it'll be out in 2021.

The news was revealed via a landing website which features the game's name and current release window.

S. T. A. L. K. E. R.is a series of games based on the story "roadside picnic" of science fiction Strugatsky brothers. A website recently popped up online displaying only an image that says S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2 and 2.0.2.1.

Severe thunderstorms approaching the Harrisburg area
Aside from Monday , the potential for severe weather is too low for any mention by the Storm Prediction Center . Some damaging wind gusts could be in the picture, along with locally heavy rainfall with any stronger storms.

It appears that a full sequel in the STALKER franchise is in the works as confirmed by series developer GSC Game World.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 has had a tumultuous development cycle, previously being announced and then later cancelled in 2011. Hopefully, though, with three years in which to make the game, GSC Game World will deliver this time around.

The next game in the series, Metro Exodus, will be its first open-world title and will be available on the PC, Xbox One and PS4. These are all the details we have for now, but for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 news further down the line, keep it locked here at IGN.
